Foodtech fermentation startups, we’re here to help you scale from innovation to market. Join our 8-month Foodtech Accelerator Skåne for next-gen foodtech startups, developing fermentation-based innovations.

We help you validate, develop, and grow your business.

You will gain access to the best of both Krinova Incubator & Science Park and SmiLe Venture Hub.

During the programme, you will refine your business and funding strategy, receive tailored support, and connect with mentors with industry experience. You will also gain access to state-of-the-art product development labs, a Food Studio, and strong networks of food industry representatives and investors.

Where:

Online and onsite at Krinova Incubator & Science Park in Kristianstad and SmiLe Venture Hub in Lund.

Applicants will receive feedback in early June whether they have been accepted to the program or not.

Who can apply?

The program is designed for companies that: 

  • Are registered in Sweden
  • Have a committed team of at least two people (each working a minimum of 50%)
  • Can dedicate time to actively participate in the programme
  • Are eligible to receive state aid
  • Are developing a product or process based on fermentation.

About

The "Foodtech Accelerator Skåne by Krinova and Smile Venture Hub” is part of the project EIF – more Efficient Innovation support for Foodtech. The goal is to create a regional hub that can be scaled nationally to promote innovation and commercialization within foodtech and at the intersection of health and food. The project is financed by the European Union and Region Skåne.
